Terms of Use
Telehealth Services Policy
Comprehensive Pain Solutions may offer certain visits and follow-up services through telehealth, including secure audio, video, and other electronic communication tools, when clinically appropriate.
Telehealth can improve convenience and access to care, but it may not be appropriate for every medical situation. If a provider determines that a telehealth visit does not provide enough information for safe or effective treatment, you may be asked to schedule an in-person appointment.
Telehealth is not intended for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, severe pain, chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke symptoms, or any urgent condition, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
Privacy and Security
Comprehensive Pain Solutions has adopted privacy and security measures to protect your health information in accordance with applicable federal and New Jersey laws. However, electronic communications can carry risks such as interruptions, unauthorized access, or technical failures. By using telehealth services, you acknowledge and accept these possible limitations of electronic communication. Patients should try to participate in telehealth visits from a private location whenever possible and should use personal, secure devices and internet connections when available. Information displayed on your phone, tablet, or computer may be visible to others if your device or notifications are not protected.
Text Messaging Policy
If you provide your mobile number, Comprehensive Pain Solutions may send text messages related to your care and account, such as appointment reminders, scheduling updates, billing notifications, and other non-emergency practice communications. Message frequency may vary, and message or data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
Text messaging is not always a fully secure form of communication. Messages sent to your mobile device may be seen by anyone who has access to your phone, lock-screen notifications, backups, or mobile account. Please do not use text messaging for emergencies or highly sensitive matters.
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or similar language, or by contacting our office directly. We may send one final text to confirm your opt-out request, and we will honor opt-out requests within a reasonable time, not to exceed 10 business days.
