Spine Neurosurgeon

Dr. Shiveindra Jeyamohan, neurosurgeon specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery

Dr. Shiveindra Jeyamohan is a neurosurgeon specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal reconstruction, and revision procedures for patients with complex spinal conditions. His work focuses on treating structural spine disorders that continue to affect movement, nerve function, and quality of life despite prior treatment.

Raised in New Jersey, Dr. Jeyamohan completed his undergraduate studies at Penn State University before earning his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University. He went on to complete neurosurgical residency training at Albany Medical Center, where he also pursued focused spine training before advancing into fellowship specialization at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle. There, his training combined neurosurgical and orthopedic spine techniques with emphasis on minimally invasive surgery, spinal deformity correction, reconstruction, and revision procedures.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Jeyamohan has treated a wide range of spinal conditions, including nerve compression, degenerative disorders, traumatic spinal injuries, tumors, scoliosis, and complications related to previous spine surgery. His surgical interests include minimally invasive decompression procedures, cervical spine conditions, motion-preserving techniques, and complex reconstruction involving the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine.

After several years in practice in Seattle, he returned to the Northeast and has continued building spine surgery programs while serving in leadership roles including Chief of Surgery and Director of Neurosurgery. His experience spans both routine spinal procedures and highly complex surgical cases requiring detailed reconstruction and revision planning.

Dr. Jeyamohan takes a measured approach to spine surgery and believes patients benefit from understanding all available treatment options before surgery enters the conversation. He works alongside the Comprehensive Pain Solutions team to ensure patients receive coordinated evaluation from both surgical and non-surgical perspectives before treatment decisions are made.

Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Jeyamohan contributes to the field through research, publications, and presentations related to spine and neurological surgery.

What Our Patients Are Saying

Absolutely Grateful – Life-Saving Team! I honestly don’t have the words to describe how thankful I am for the entire team at Comprehensive Pain Solutions, Cherry Hill. From check-in to every step of my treatment journey, they’ve been nothing short of amazing. I'm still recovering from a serious back surgery and dealing with ongoing pain, but the care, patience, and professionalism I've received here have made a world of difference. Special shout-out to Jolene and Erica — I know I’ve bothered them a lot with paperwork, follow-ups, and questions, but they’ve always handled everything with kindness and efficiency.

Patient seated in exam room sharing positive experience at pain management clinic in New Jersey I cannot tell you how grateful I am for the care I am being given by this team. I was hurt in an auto accident in June of 2021, and only recently have been able to walk correctly with minimal pain. Dr Ucne Eneanya did everything possible to figure out my problem, and he nailed it.
