What to Bring to Your Appointment

Bringing the right information allows for a more complete evaluation and helps avoid repeating steps you’ve already taken. If available, bring:

  • MRI or imaging reports (or access to imaging)
  • A list of prior treatments, including physical therapy, medications, or injections
  • Any relevant medical records
  • Your insurance information

If you don’t have everything, that’s okay. Our team will still guide the process based on what’s available.

What to Expect During Your Visit

Your first appointment focuses on understanding your symptoms and what has already been done.
This typically includes:

  • A discussion of your symptoms and how they have changed over time
  • A review of prior treatment and response
  • Evaluation of imaging, if available
  • A physical examination when appropriate

The goal of this visit is to identify what may be contributing to your pain and determine what the next step should be.

How We Approach Evaluation

Many patients arrive after trying one or more forms of treatment without lasting improvement. Rather than repeating the same approach, the focus is on understanding why symptoms are continuing.

This may involve:

  • Identifying structural issues in the spine
  • Evaluating nerve-related symptoms
  • Determining whether further non-surgical treatment is appropriate
  • Considering whether a surgical consultation may be needed

Each evaluation is based on your specific history, symptoms, and imaging.

Scheduling and Locations

Appointments are scheduled based on your symptoms, provider availability, and preferred location.

Comprehensive Pain Solutions of New Jersey has locations in:

  • Cherry Hill
  • Sewell
  • Galloway

  • Somers Point

All calls are routed through a central scheduling team to ensure consistency and coordination across locations.
